Admitted to the Bar in 1981, Brent has worked on both the plaintiff side and on the defense side of malpractice. His thirty years of experience, his medical knowledge and his exemplary trial skills have earned him an outstanding record of achievement.

On the plaintiff’s side, Brent has participated in numerous cases which resulted in verdicts or settlements in excess of one million dollars. As a defense attorney, he has represented clients such as University of Florida Board of Trustees, Shands at University of Florida and Shands Jacksonville, Baptist Hospital, Hospital Corporation of America, and numerous physicians in complex medical malpractice actions. He has also successfully defended premises liability actions for Winn Dixie Stores and Walgreens. His legal experience includes appeals to the Florida Supreme Court and the Fifth District Court of Appeals.

Out of the office, Brent enjoys volunteering for the Humane Society, playing golf and tennis, boating and traveling with his wife.
