We invite you to join Saint Jude Catholic Church / Hispanic American Center, and a dedicated group of volunteers in supporting the Fifteenth Annual Hispanic Fall Festival in Sarasota, celebrating our Hispanic Heritage on Saturday, November 4th 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the Festival is to raise funds for the Hispanic American Center and St. Jude Catholic Church located on the grounds of the church at 17th Street and Hammock Place.
The Hispanic American Center and St. Jude Catholic Church provide spiritual and social services to all people in the area. Ours is a bilingual facility with masses in English, Spanish, and Portuguese designed to address the spiritual and basic needs of all. Program offerings include language instruction, job placement, housing referrals, parenting classes, and youth group activities, legal and financial forums, etc. Programs for assistance with food, rent utilities, and medical needs are available for qualifying individuals and families.
Over 10,000 people enjoyed a day of multinational foods, fun and entertainment last year. This year’s Festival will be a one-day event offering food, dances, live music, entertainments, and crafts from many Latin-American countries. Sponsors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to display their business, products and services to the visiting public. More than 70,000 Hispanics are living in Sarasota and Manatee counties and this event is an exceptional opportunity to reach a growing market.
